About ENSU

The Environmental Students’ Union is the student union for all University of Toronto School of the Environment students. We host events and initiatives throughout the school year to bring students and faculty together and make everyone feel at home in the school.┬áBeing a student union, all students in School of the Environment programs and/or courses are automatically part of ENSU and our events are always open to these students.

ENSU is run through an elected executive board. We hold elections in the spring, for most of our positions, and in the fall, to fill any remaining positions. The board is run by two co-presidents, James and Rachel, and has regular positions, like secretary and treasurer, but we also proud to have positions like sustainability officer and commuter representative.

We have many events throughout the year, including social events, academic events, sustainability-focused events, and everything in between. However, we are always looking for more ways to bring environmental students together and promote sustainability on campus. If you have ideas you wish to implement, please contact us as ensu.utoronto@gmail.com and we would love to help.
